A Remedial Massage Therapist conducts an assessment and treatment of soft tissue dysfunctions that cause pain and restrict movement in the body. This involves recording a comprehensive history, observations, palpation, motion testing and a range of other physical testing procedures. Based on the assessment Remedial Massage is then developed into a treatment plan using a range of different techniques such as:
